There is no one on this planet that can stop Black Adam … or his merch.

Ahead of New York Comic Con (NYCC), Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) and DC officially dropped the curtain on a massive consumer products program built around Black Adam as the film races toward its Oct. 21 theatrical release in the U.S.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson took to Instagram this morning to kick off the onslaught with the debut of the collection from Under Armour, but that’s just the beginning and The Pop Insider has some highlights! After all, the mighty hero graces the cover of our 2022 Holiday Gift Guide!

“Black Adam deserved more than a portrayal,” said Johnson says. “He deserved a transformation. Every training session, every rep, every drop of sweat was my commitment to disrupt the very notion about this character and myself.”

The collection features apparel, accessories, and the Black Adam PR 5 training shoe. You can get into the heroic spirit by picking these up at Under Armour and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Rock some Black Adam style with new apparel from Bioworld, Fifth Sun, Issac Morris, LTD, Trevco, and IML available at Amazon and Target. Walmart has its own line of T-shirts from Mad Engine and Hot Topic has an exclusive line of graphic T-shirts.

Loungefly is rolling out a Cosplay Mini Backpack and matching Ziparound Wallet. RockLove has a Black Adam lightning bolt necklace while Hot Topic has a full range of earrings, charm bracelets, pins, necklaces, scrunchies, and keychains. Amazon is offering Black Adam wallets and belts from Buckle-Down. Warner Bros.’ DC Shop is also packed with exclusive merch.

Let’s just say that the lineup for this is … robust.

Spin Master is rolling out a host of 4-inch and 12-inch action figures featuring Black Adam, Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone along with the 4-inch scale Hawk Cruiser Patrol vehicle. McFarlane Toys is also bringing the hits with 7-inch DC Multiverse figures including Black Adam, Hawkman, Dr. Fate, and Cyclone. There are also Atom Smasher and Sabbac Mega Figures and a line of DC Direct movie statues.

And you can’t have a movie without a full range from Funko!

The purveyors of pop culture goodness have Pop! figures of Black Adam, Cyclone, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, Sabbac, and Hawkman. There are also glow-in-the-dark Pop! collectibles of Black Adam on Throne and Hawkman in Cruiser.

DC us rolling out a Black Adam Box Set with Black Adam/JSA: Black Reign, Shazam! Vol. 1, and Black Adam: Rise and Fall of an Empire. The publisher also has a new edition of Black Adam: The Dark Age and a curated collection of Black Adam digital titles on DC Universe Infinite.

Additionally, Random House has Black Adam Strikes! and Shazam Featuring Black Adam while Capstone is offering Black Adam: An Origin Story.

Rubies is rolling out a line of Halloween costumes and accessories this season while Cartamundi is unleashing hybrid trading cards that have “NFT twins.”

Even the grocery store is getting some Black Adam goodness with ZOA Energy Drinks in specially designed 16-ounce tallboy cans. Meanwhile, Publix, Kroger, Albertsons, Meijer, HEB, Safeway, and United Supermarkets are offering a Large Reusable Black Adam Tote Bag by Legacy Licensing to carry all of your food and snacks.

Other licensees joining the fray include Trends International (posters), Silver Buffalo (mugs), Tervis (steel tumblers), Hallmart (a Keepsake Ornament), Trevco (blankets), Buckle-Down (dog toys).

That’s a LOT of Black Adam!
